Terms & Conditions

Treatment

You will be asked to sign a consent form before treatment can commence.
Although you will be treated in an individual room, minors (under 16) may be accompanied by a parent or guardian. For adults one other person may accompany you if you wish.
If at any time you are dissatisfied with the treatment you must tell me. You may withdraw your consent at any time.
Although I see your treatment as a joint partnership I reserve the right to tell you when I feel I am no longer able to help you. Additionally, I can only treat you if I have had suitable training to do so. Therefore, although it is unlikely, I may have to refuse to treat you at any stage.
I neither guarantee to improve nor cure your symptoms.

Payment

You can either pay at the time of treatment or at the end of a course of treatment. Receipted invoices will be issued upon request. If you are covered by a health insurance policy we would politely request that you check your cover prior to treatment as ultimately you the patient are liable for any non-payment of claims. In particular should you not attend without giving 24 hours’ prior notice the standard fee for the session will become payable. Your health insurance is unlikely to cover such charges.

Cash, cheques, debit or credit cards (namely Visa or Mastercard) are accepted. No additional processing charges are added. If your course of treatment extends over six sessions you may be asked to settle your bill before treatment continues.

Medical services are VAT exempt.

If I obtain items to help with your treatment I will normally charge you the price I paid for them but in certain cases I may add a small administration fee.

Other

We are insured against claims for public liability and negligence.

A booking made on the electronic booking system is not valid and should not be acted upon until it is confirmed by receipt of an e-mail or after a confirmatory phone call from the practice.
